The correct way to add water to the battery of electric forklift

Ordinary batteries used in electric forklifts（Battery powered forklifts） should be replenished with water once a month. Other types of batteries should be supplemented with distilled water on a regular basis according to water consumption. For batteries that are not in use temporarily, it can be delayed for several months before refilling.

After replenishing the battery, the battery should be recharged in an appropriate amount. If some batteries have a rapid liquid level drop and frequent water replenishment, check whether the limit voltage of the regulator on the car is adjusted too high. Too high will cause overcharging, high water consumption, and fast evaporation. This situation can be solved by adjusting the limit voltage. If some batteries drop quickly, check whether there is a short circuit. In addition, it also depends on whether there are cracks in the battery tank and whether the electrolyte leaks. It is necessary to judge the actual situation before handling.

The battery of the electric pallet truck is operating normally, and only water can be added, and electrolyte must not be added. If the battery of an electric forklift is dumped and the electrolyte flows out and causes loss, the electrolyte can be replenished. Replenishing the electrolyte of the electric forklift should be supplemented according to the original electrolyte density. Sometimes the electric forklift cannot be started. Many people think that it is caused by insufficient power storage. They often add electrolyte to the battery. The result is counterproductive and greatly shortens the service life of the battery.
