In the hot summer, high temperature and high humidity modes have been turned on everywhere. Battery as the core component of electric forklift
It is directly related to the safety and service life of the vehicle. How to maintain properly and prevent problems before they happen, please check this "heatstroke prevention" strategy.
1. Do not charge in a high-temperature, closed environment. If the temperature is too high, the lithium battery electrolyte will decompose and cause the loss of active lithium, which will reduce the battery's use effect and cycle life.
Tips: The best charging temperature for lithium batteries is around 25°C (±5°C), and the maximum temperature should not exceed 45°C. During the charging process, the forklift should be placed in a cool and ventilated place. Try to keep the wires at both ends of the charger exposed in the air, and do not cover it with other shields, which will affect the heat dissipation of the charger.
2. Avoid prolonged exposure to rain. Lithium batteries exposed to rain for a long time (lithium batteries can withstand short-term rainy weather) may cause water to enter the battery case, resulting in an internal short circuit of the lithium battery or failure of the entire battery pack.
Tips: Avoid working outdoors for a long time in rainy days. Cover the forklift with a waterproof raincoat or park the forklift indoors to prevent rainwater from entering the charger and causing damage to the charger.
3. The lithium battery has not been fully charged many times in a row, and the battery power may be inaccurate. It is recommended to fully charge once every half a month to 100%.
Tips: Cultivate a good habit of recharging the battery when you are free, and never lack it when you are busy. Try to avoid frequently charging the battery to 100% or discharging it to zero.
If the battery is not used for a long time in summer, it is recommended to charge it to 50%-60% and then store it in a dry and cool place. Lithium batteries that have been left in storage normally need to be charged and discharged once every 3 months.
Choosing the right forklift can save worry and effort in the hot summer. HITOP forklifts have mastered the core battery technology, and the battery modules have gone through more than 20 extreme safety tests such as high and low temperature, waterproof, vibration, drop, and extrusion.Give you comprehensive protection!
