At present, most of the newly produced forklifts use a one-time rotary oil filter, and it is stipulated that the forklift must be replaced when it travels more than 8000-10000km or works for more than 200-250 hours. Of course, different forklifts and different operating environments may have slightly different replacement cycles. Forklifts that are not frequently used can be replaced every three months. However, when the forklift is undergoing major maintenance, it is better to replace the forklift oil filter, the air filter, the gearbox filter, the diesel filter or the gasoline filter at the same time. Forklift oil filters can be mainly divided into the following three types to filter oil.
1. The oil filter is used to filter out the larger impurities in the lubricating oil and prevent it from entering the oil pump to block the oil passage. It is generally a metal mesh type and is installed before the oil inlet of the oil pump.
2. The oil coarse filter is used to filter out the large impurities (diameter above 0.05-0.1mm) in the oil. It has less resistance to the oil flow. It is generally connected in series between the oil pump and the main oil passage. It belongs to Full flow filter.
3. The oil fine filter is used to eliminate tiny impurities (gum and water with a diameter of less than 0.05mm). Because of its large flow negative force, it is connected in parallel with the main oil passage, and only about 10% of the lubricating oil passes through, which belongs to the split-flow filter.
