What is the difference between electric forklifts and diesel forklifts?

1. Features and working environment of diesel forklift
(1) Counterbalanced diesel forklift: large in size, but with good stability, it is suitable for heavy load, the use time is unlimited, and the place of use is generally outdoors. Compared with gasoline engines, diesel engines have better power performance (low speed is not easy to stall, overload capacity, long-term operation ability), and low fuel costs. However, it has large vibration, large noise, large displacement, self-weight, high price, and the load weight can be from 0.5 tons to 45 tons.

(2) Counterbalanced gasoline fork: large in size, but with good stability, it is suitable for heavy load, the use time is unlimited, and the place of use is generally outdoors. The gasoline engine has a small appearance, light weight, high output power, low working noise and vibration, and low price. However, the gasoline engine has poor overload capacity and long-term operation ability, and the fuel cost is quite high. The load capacity can range from 0.5 tons to 4.5 tons.
(3) The counterbalanced LPG forklift is a counterbalanced gasoline forklift with a LPG conversion device, which becomes an LPG forklift, and can switch between gasoline and liquefied gas through the transfer switch. The advantages of forklifts are good exhaust emissions, carbon monoxide (CO) emissions are significantly less than gasoline engines, low fuel costs (15KG of liquefied gas is equivalent to 20 liters of gasoline), suitable for indoor operations with high environmental requirements.

2. The characteristics and working environment of electric forklifts
(1) Electric pallet forklift: The main function of the electric pallet forklift is to realize the point-to-point movement of pallet goods on the plane. Therefore, there is no mast lifting system. It is suitable for places where transportation is important and does not need to be stacked. This model solves the problem of turning long materials in narrow spaces, greatly saves space, and can realize diagonal stacking and disassembly in trains and cars.

In general, electric forklifts are easier to operate than diesel forklifts, and are energy-saving and efficient.
